Web based tender system to source, award and manage the total procurement process. Leverages supply and demand, through reverse auction, ensuring that goods are bought at the best possible price. Developed in PHP with MySQL/PostgreSQL database.
1. Extract the source file under your Web Servers localhost
2. If you are installing under an Operating System with File Permissions ensure that the following files have read / write permissions:
modules/settings/config.inc.php modules/public/config.inc.php modules/loader/config.inc.php modules/languageeditor/config.inc.php application/include/modules/settings/config.inc.php application/include/modules/tender/config.inc.php application/include/modules/public/config.inc.php application/include/modules/report/config.inc.php application/include/modules/user/config.inc.php application/include/modules/password/config.inc.php application/include/modules/category/config.inc.php
3. (Optional) If you want to use the Language Editor and Module Loader ensure that the following folders and all it's contents have read / write permissions: modules application/include/modules
4. On the Database Server create a database called tendersystem and create a username and password (required) with global priviledges for the database.
5. In your web browser go to were you extracted the source files and select index.php e.g. www.yoursite.com/index.php 6. Note Once installed, index.php takes you to the main page.
